In 1929, the first Koepe rope varnish-“NYROSTEN” (the predecessor of NYROSTEN N113) was tested successfully at “Versuchsgrube Gelsenkirchen” (Test coal mine Gelsenkirchen). Since then, the company of NYROSTEN has developed into the absolute specialist in the sector of “steel rope preservation”, and it was not only the German market the successfully in all wire rope sector worldwide (e.g. mining industry, surface mining, shipping, offshore, cableway, special cranes, lifts industry).

Thanks to the use of high-quality raw material only and thanks to constant high quality, flexibility, the chance of individual product development for the customer and many years of experience the name of NYROSTEN developed into the term of “the wire rope preservation”.

The continuous further development in cooperation with leading research institutes in many countries enable us to supply NYROSTEN products for most deffirent wire rope applications and climatic zones, for the first preservation of the steel wire strands and cores as well as the relevant post impregnation.
